Wio Bank is hiring a Data Engineer – Internal Audit to develop and manage data-driven solutions for internal audits. The role involves building scalable data platforms, automating audit processes, and ensuring data security to support continuous testing and risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL, Python, and cloud platform experience with a keen interest in data analytics and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Data Engineering & Integration:

• Develop and manage the internal audit data platform, ensuring smooth data flow and integration across systems.
• Design ETL pipelines and data models for structured audit assessments.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in compliance with regulatory standards.

✅ Automation & Reporting:

• Develop automation tools to enhance audit efficiency and scale data operations.
• Build dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights for stakeholders.
• Train audit teams on data analysis techniques to improve audit testing processes.

✅ Collaboration & Compliance:

• Work closely with internal auditors to understand data needs and implement solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Job Requirements:

📌 Experience & Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and scalable data architecture.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning models is a plus.
• Strong project management and communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
