Role Description:
Horizontal Digital is hiring a Data Consultant (Contractor) to join its Dubai team. This role involves surfacing data insights that drive smarter, data-backed decisions and enhance digital experiences for global clients. The Data Consultant will work closely with strategy, design, and technology teams, translating complex datasets into actionable insights while ensuring robust data collection and analytics accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets across web, campaign, and product analytics.

Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, GA4, and Looker Studio.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance trends and growth opportunities.

Implement and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) and DataLayer structures.

Support strategy, design, and tech teams in measuring digital experience effectiveness.

Translate complex data into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Improve tracking accuracy, analytics workflows, and campaign tagging processes.
Qualifications & Skills:

2–4 years of experience in a data analyst or digital analytics role.

Proficiency in GA4, GTM, Power BI, and advanced Excel/Sheets.

Experience working with websites and CMS platforms (HTML, CSS, JS knowledge is a plus).

Hands-on experience building/managing GTM containers and DataLayers.

Knowledge of ad tracking, media performance analysis, and optimization (DV360, Meta Ads, Google Ads).

Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex findings.

Highly detail-oriented, curious, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.

Bonus: Familiarity with SQL, Python scripting, or dashboard development for marketing teams.
