Cybersecurity Alliance Manager – F5

Position Overview:
Westcon-Comstor, a global leader in technology distribution, is hiring a Cybersecurity Alliance Manager – F5 to join its team in Dubai. This hybrid, full-time role is designed for a dynamic, experienced channel sales professional with strong expertise in F5 cybersecurity solutions or similar technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the F5 portfolio within the Cybersecurity Business Unit, developing strategic relationships with specialized system integrators, managing vendor performance, and driving product sales through proactive channel development and alliance management.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Strategy

  • Research and develop go-to-market strategies for assigned cybersecurity products.

  • Set market goals and KPIs for the F5 product line.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.

  • Support sales planning through data collection, analytics, and strategic input.

Sales Execution

  • Assist in the selling and promotion of F5 solutions across the reseller and end-user ecosystem.

  • Build and manage strong relationships with partners, system integrators, and vendors.

  • Prepare tailored sales and marketing proposals; deliver presentations to drive interest and engagement.

  • Negotiate and close deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Vendor & Product Management

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and manage product data in internal systems.

  • Oversee product pricing, inventory, supply orders, and promotional campaigns.

  • Ensure timely reporting of sales, claims, inventory updates, and vendor performance.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the point of contact for customer satisfaction, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, operations, marketing) for seamless execution.

  • Train internal stakeholders on product knowledge to improve sales capability.

  • Ensure all requirements related to vendor rebates, promotions, and certifications are fulfilled.

Internal Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate cross-department activities to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Keep senior management informed of performance, opportunities, and challenges.

  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration across departments.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Relevant degree or diploma in engineering, business, marketing, or sales preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a regional channel management role or a combined sales/product management position.

  • Vendor Expertise: Proven experience with F5 or similar cybersecurity vendors is required.

  • Skills:

    • Deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions and channel sales strategies.

    • Excellent presentation, relationship management, and negotiation skills.

    • Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyze and act on market trends.

    • Experience managing KPIs, product pricing, and promotional campaigns.
