Role Overview:
The Customs Co-worker will handle the processing, verification, and management of inbound and outbound customs documents, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with company and regulatory requirements. This is an entry-level, full-time role that requires attention to detail, proficiency in documentation, and strong coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process DP World payments within the same day of BOE/ED date.

  • Download and merge inbound documents within 24 hours of BOE processing.

  • Download and merge outbound documents within 24 hours of receiving all documents.

  • File non-remittance claims within 2 days of receiving final SWB.

  • Create folders and save files for outbound shipments after ED is processed.

  • Check and update COK status for inbound shipments.

  • Support inbound and outbound processing to meet individual and team KRAs.

  • Verify correctness of documents before processing.

  • Process inbound and outbound BOEs and update invoice & EDI data on the master file.

  • Create and forward shipments from DCO on ATD basis + 2 days; escalate issues to ISME if required.

  • Track escalated documents and ensure completeness for handover.

  • Update BL for consumables (DDU/DAP) shipments within 24 hours of receiving SWB.

  • Maintain EL Master files, Consumables Tracker, and other relevant documentation.

  • Process inbound shipments and share information via ELux/MWPP within 24 hours of arrival.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).

  • Entry-level experience in logistics, customs, or related operations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Knowledge of Dubai Trade platform preferred.

  • Good data entry speed and attention to detail.

  • Strong English proficiency (written and spoken).

  • Alert, proactive, and able to follow instructions precisely.
