The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is seeking a Corporate Policies Lead to develop, review, and oversee the implementation of corporate policies that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. The role ensures regulatory compliance, governance enhancement, and promotes a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop and implement corporate policies and frameworks aligned with DCT Abu Dhabi’s strategic vision and regulatory requirements.
✔ Conduct policy impact assessments and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
✔ Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, HR, and Finance to ensure seamless policy integration.
✔ Organize policy awareness training and communication initiatives to ensure compliance across the organization.
✔ Prepare and deliver policy briefings, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
✔ Develop reporting mechanisms to track policy compliance, effectiveness, and improvement areas.
✔ Manage the entire policy lifecycle, from development to approval and implementation across departments.
✔ Ensure adherence to functional policies, procedures, and controls to maintain legislative compliance and cost-effective service delivery.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
✅ Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in corporate policy development, governance, or regulatory affairs.
✅ Governance & Compliance: Strong knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory standards.
✅ Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
✅ Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of UAE legislative and regulatory frameworks impacting corporate operations.
✅ Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects.
