Linklaters is seeking a Contract Employment Lawyer to join its Re:link Middle East desk on a six-month remote contract with the potential for extension. This role offers challenging and rewarding legal work within a top-tier international law firm, supporting employment law matters across the UAE and UK.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Legal Advisory & Case Management:
- Provide comprehensive legal support in employment law.
- Assist the Director of Employment in managing legal requests.
- Draft contracts, policies, and advisory documents for clients.
✅ Stakeholder & Client Engagement:
- Work closely with internal teams and external clients on employment law matters.
- Offer strategic guidance on employment regulations, compliance, and disputes.
✅ Research & Legal Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with UAE, UK, and Saudi Labour Law (preferred).
- Conduct legal research and provide insightful recommendations.
Key Qualifications:
✔ Education & Experience:
- Qualified lawyer with a valid practicing certificate.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in employment law.
- Experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong knowledge of UAE or UK employment law (Saudi Labour Law is a plus).
✔ Skills & Traits:
- Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and advisory work.
