S&P Global is seeking a Consulting Manager, Energy Transition to join its EMEA Energy Transition Consulting Team. The role involves providing strategic advisory services to leading companies, investors, and governments in the traditional and new energy sectors. The team specializes in energy transition strategies, transaction due diligence, emissions reduction roadmaps, supply chain assessments, and ESG/Energy policy advisory.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead project delivery by defining approaches, frameworks, data analyses, and deriving key outcomes.

Guide consultants in analyzing large datasets using data analytics tools and programming languages.

Manage and mentor a team of consultants, enhancing their consulting and energy transition expertise.

Deliver insights through reports, presentations, and direct client interactions.

Lead client meetings, develop proposals, and contribute to business development efforts.

Leverage industry knowledge to develop thought leadership on energy transition topics and trends.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Minimum 8+ years of experience in the energy sector, consulting, or finance, focusing on commercial analysis, financial modeling, research, benchmarking, and M&A.

Strong knowledge of the energy value chain, critical minerals, renewable power, emissions management, and environmental policies.
-
Middle East and GCC experience is preferred.

Background in management consulting with strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Educational Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Environmental, or Process Engineering).

A post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Business is advantageous.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to back opinions with data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and provide constructive feedback.
