Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) is seeking a Consultant Physician – General Pediatrics to provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients. The role involves diagnosing and treating childhood illnesses, injuries, and disorders, prescribing treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Examine and assess pediatric patients, take medical histories, and provide diagnoses.
🔹 Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
🔹 Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and explain results to patients and families.
🔹 Counsel patients and parents on nutrition, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
🔹 Collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams for patient referrals and complex cases.
🔹 Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
🔹 Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices in pediatrics.

Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Education & Experience:

• Medical Degree with completed residency and internship in Pediatrics.
• Valid state medical license and board certification in Pediatrics.
• Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating childhood illnesses.
  ✅ Skills & Competencies:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with young patients and families.
• Problem-solving abilities to manage a variety of pediatric conditions.
• Compassion and patience to handle young patients with care.
• Knowledge of medical laws and best practices (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
