Position Overview:
A leading medical facility in Dubai, UAE is seeking a highly skilled and DHA-eligible Consultant Ophthalmologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of eye disorders, performing advanced eye surgeries, and managing outpatient and emergency eye care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, vision tests, and prescribe corrective lenses.

• Diagnose eye conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

• Perform surgical interventions such as LASIK, cataract removal, corneal transplants, and trauma repair.

• Manage outpatient and emergency eye clinics, delivering prompt and effective care.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic treatment of systemic conditions affecting vision.

• Keep accurate and updated patient records in line with EMR protocols.

• Stay current with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Ophthalmology.

• Valid UAE medical license (DHA/DOH/MOH) or eligibility to obtain one.

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years of clinical and surgical experience post-specialization.

• Proficient in using diagnostic imaging tools and modern surgical technology.

• Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and communication skills.

• Open to Arab, European, CIS, and Anglophone nationals.

Salary & Benefits:

• Monthly salary range: AED 45,000 – 55,000, depending on experience.
