Job Title: Construction Projects Director 

Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Projects Director with 20+ years of experience to lead large-scale commercial and residential construction projects from initiation through completion. This role requires strategic oversight, exceptional team leadership, and a keen eye for cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a deep understanding of project execution and construction best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-cycle leadership across all phases of construction projects in line with company goals

  • Develop and implement detailed project strategies including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning

  • Manage and guide cross-functional project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to achieve project milestones

  • Ensure all work aligns with internal quality standards and client expectations

  • Maintain strict adherence to building codes, safety protocols, and local/international legal regulations

  • Cultivate strong partnerships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and risk mitigation

  • Oversee tender management from initial bids to final approvals

  • Conduct strategic cost analysis and collaborate with commercial divisions to enhance budget efficiency

  • Monitor and adjust workforce allocations to meet dynamic project needs and avoid delays

  • Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence on-site

  • Provide timely project reporting and insights to executive leadership

Experience & Skills Required:

  • 20+ years in construction project management with a strong portfolio of commercial and residential developments

  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, stakeholder communication, and cost control

  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate high-pressure environments

  • Expertise in tendering, workload planning, and budget optimization

  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and compliance processes

  • Ability to create collaborative, solution-oriented environments and exceed client expectations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

  • Proficiency in project management tools, budgeting, and construction technologies

  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
