Construction Logistics Coordinator

Position: Construction Logistics Coordinator
Employment Type: Full Time (Initial 3–6 month contract, outsource via J10 Consulting, with possible transfer to staff after 6 months)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Client: Tier 1 Civil Contracting Company
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the movement of labor, materials, and equipment to and from project sites.

  • Develop and implement logistics strategic plans.

  • Monitor all logistics aspects and suggest improvements.

  • Plan and organize site set-ups (e.g., hoarding, gates, cranes, hoists, welfare, security).

  • Develop logistics routes for safe and efficient transport around the site.

  • Handle traffic management, layout planning, crane/hoist coordination, material booking, and pick points.

  • Manage workforce movements, bus drop-off/collection, and welfare facilities.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Engineering or similar.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Construction Logistics on large-scale new builds with reputable main contractors in the UAE.

  • Desirable: Membership of CIOB / CMILT (not essential).

  • Strong operational background on large projects.

  • Innovative thinker with process improvement mindset.

  • Ability to persuade, influence, and adopt new technologies.
