Job Purpose:
As a Compliance Officer – AML & Internal Audit, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) policies. You will also assist in conducting internal audits across branches and departments to maintain the highest standards of integrity and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
External Compliance:

Respond to queries from the UAE Central Bank, Dubai Police, and correspondent banks related to remittance and traveler’s cheques

Address requests from third-party money service providers

Support external AML audits and regulatory inspections at head office and branches
Internal Compliance & Auditing:

Monitor transactional patterns and conduct in-depth analysis

Perform due diligence during customer onboarding

Conduct Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) reviews

Identify and escalate suspicious transactions and recommend STR filings

Support internal AML/CFT training and compliance initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; AML or Audit certification is an advantage

Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, AML, or internal audit in the financial services or remittance sector

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working under pressure

Collaborative mindset and effective team player

Familiar with AML software and systems
