Dubai Holding Entertainment, a leading organization behind some of Dubai’s most iconic attractions such as Ain Dubai, Global Village, Dubai Parks and Resorts™, Coca-Cola Arena, Roxy Cinemas, and The Green Planet, is seeking a Commis Chef (Arabic Cuisine) for its Riverland destination. The role requires an enthusiastic culinary professional who will assist in daily kitchen operations, ensure high food quality, and maintain excellent guest service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.

• Prepare daily mise-en-place and manage food production in the assigned section.

• Take full responsibility for the section in the absence of supervisors.

• Follow menu specifications, portioning, and presentation standards set by the Chef.

• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness, setting an example for colleagues.

• Check and monitor product shelf life and food storage areas.

• Display professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.

• Handle store pickups on a daily basis.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and promote good interdepartmental relations.

• Remain calm and attentive to guest needs, even under pressure.

Requirements:

• Secondary school education or formal training in Culinary Arts.

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Arabic cuisine.

• Flexible to work varied shifts and physically fit for kitchen duties.

• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and ability to work under pressure.

• Commitment to Dubai Holding Entertainment policies and standards.

• Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
