Etihad Airways is hiring a Commercial Steering Officer to bridge the gap between Sales, E-Commerce, Digital, Marketing, Loyalty (EDML), and Revenue Management. This role involves developing and owning commercial objectives, optimizing revenue strategies, managing new route launches, and coordinating across multiple commercial divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop and own Country Commercial Plans (CCPs), ensuring revenue targets align with business strategies.
✔ Work with Revenue Management (RM), Sales, and EDML to review performance and drive improvements.
✔ Act as a focal point for Open for Sale (OFS) activities, ensuring seamless execution of new routes and frequencies.
✔ Collaborate with Network Revenue Optimization (NRO) to implement and measure revenue strategies.
✔ Track and analyze commercial performance, identifying opportunities to optimize travel programs.
✔ Monitor revenue leakage, propose process improvements, and implement revenue recovery strategies.
✔ Ensure all publications and communications across commercial divisions are aligned and timely.
✔ Lead and coordinate cross-functional processes involving Sales, EDML, and Revenue Management.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering preferred.
✅ Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
✅ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools.
✅ Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive solutions.
✅ Project Management: Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
✅ Airline Industry Experience: Preferred but not mandatory.
✅ Time Management & Communication: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and collaborate effectively.
