Job Title: Commercial Manager 

About the Role:

Wood is hiring a Commercial Manager to lead contract and commercial management for our UAE business unit. Based in Sharjah on a full-time, 5/2 onsite work schedule, this role involves managing commercial functions across consulting and engineering projects, with some travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contractual and commercial aspects of consulting and engineering projects.

  • Ensure compliance with commercial strategies, procedures, and contractual obligations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to support commercial decision-making.

  • Lead contract negotiations, amendments, and risk analysis.

  • Monitor and report commercial performance metrics across active projects.

  • Manage client relationships to drive value and resolve any contractual issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in the engineering, energy, or consulting sector.

  • Strong background in contract law, negotiation, risk management, and commercial reporting.

  • Ability to work onsite in Sharjah, UAE with flexibility to travel as required.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or similar qualification is a plus.
