NOV, a global leader in the oil and gas industry, is hiring a CNC Machinist in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating advanced CNC machines such as DMG, Mazak Integrex, and others, with a focus on producing precision-machined parts according to detailed specifications and engineering drawings. The role is critical to maintaining part quality, equipment safety standards, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture threaded connections and precision components based on technical drawings and specifications.

• Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with NOV safety policies.

• Collaborate with the Superintendent and team to ensure production targets and quality benchmarks are met.

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and carry out necessary adjustments or repairs.

• Ensure proper care and usage of all assigned tools and equipment.

Behavioral Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of CAD/CAM technology and mechanical engineering concepts.

• High attention to detail and the ability to work with tight tolerances (millimeters to thousandths of an inch).

• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize machine output.

• Good stamina for long working hours and repetitive tasks.

• Strong verbal communication and ability to follow written instructions.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Diploma in Industrial/Manufacturing or vocational training in mechanical engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines.

• Familiarity with machines such as:

  • DMG Mori (DMU 80, DMU 125)

  • Mazak (Integrex 400, ST450, STN500/550M)

  • ROMI (M33, M43)

  • Doosan (Puma700LM, DBC130L)

• Experience with rotary shoulder connections (API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris, Vam) and heavy-weight drill pipe (HWDP), drill collars, and drill stem components.

• Oil & gas industry manufacturing experience preferred.
