• Qualcomm is seeking a Cloud/AI Solutions Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This dynamic role involves partnering with technical sales teams to present Qualcomm’s Cloud solutions, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML). The successful candidate will work closely with clients, understanding their technical and business needs, and delivering customized AI solutions, with a focus on GenAI. You will also engage with Qualcomm’s internal teams to drive product development and business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide regional support for customer solution engineering and business development in the UAE.

• Collaborate with Qualcomm’s business and product management teams to align regional priorities with global strategies.

• Engage with customers to understand their requirements and develop innovative AI/ML solutions.

• Lead technical presentations, discovery, and planning sessions for client solutions.

• Work on delivering technical support for Qualcomm’s AI and Solutions Innovation Hub in the UAE.

• Identify and develop new services and opportunities to expand customer engagement.

• Work cross-functionally with various Qualcomm teams to improve products and deliver optimized solutions.

Required Criteria:

• 10+ years of industry experience in telecommunications, networking, or cloud infrastructure.

• Proven experience with AI/ML, particularly in GenAI, and knowledge of Qualcomm HW platforms including dedicated AI accelerators.

• Expertise in delivering technical presentations and developing new business opportunities.

• Strong leadership skills with experience in building executive-level relationships.

• Regional or global exposure with an entrepreneurial mindset to capture new business.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Desired Skills:

• Programming experience in C, C++, Java, or Python.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends.

• Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, technical writing, and PowerPoint presentations.

• Ability to innovate and create new solutions, working collaboratively with diverse teams.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (6+ years of experience).

• OR Master’s degree in the same fields (5+ years of experience).

• OR PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience.
