Overview
Our client, a well-established bookkeeping and tax consultancy in Dubai, is seeking a Client Accounting Supervisor / Advisor to manage client accounts, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, and deliver high-quality financial advisory services. This is a client-facing role that requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling queries and resolving concerns promptly.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.

• Stay updated on VAT, Corporate Tax (CT), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Economic Substance Regulations (ESR), and Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) requirements.

• Provide expert tax advice, ensuring compliance while minimising risks and penalties.

• Manage bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, and banking transactions.

• Accurately calculate and file tax returns for individuals and small businesses.

• Conduct financial analysis including P&L statements, balance sheets, and expenditure reviews.

• Support clients with VAT and CT registrations and ensure ongoing compliance.

• Review historical tax filings, reconcile financial records, and maintain accuracy.

• Identify and recommend additional advisory services tailored to client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA) in progress or preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and tax computations.

• Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable and Receivable.
