Company Overview:
Our client, a leading Global Project Management Consultancy, is seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Inspector to join their team in Dubai. This role involves construction supervision of new build and refurbishment projects.

This position is available for immediate joining on a 3-month fixed-term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.

• Review and verify shop drawings against contract specifications, local codes, and international best practices.

• Monitor site activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Report non-conforming work and issue surveillance and non-conformance reports (NCRs) if needed.

• Maintain daily site activity records, including progress reports and photos.

• Oversee and ensure coordination between different disciplines in construction.

• Provide technical expertise and resolve any structural or civil-related issues on-site.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• 5-8+ years of experience in construction supervision of civil and refurbishment projects.

• Prior experience with an engineering consultancy or supervision consultant in the UAE.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
