Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil & Structural Engineer with expertise in cost estimation, project quotations, and AutoCAD design. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, creating detailed technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Cost Estimation & Quotations

• Prepare accurate and competitive project quotations, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Analyze tender documents, perform quantity take-offs, and assist in pricing and budgeting.
• Collaborate with the project management and procurement teams to ensure quotation accuracy.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations during the bid preparation process.

✔ Design & Drafting (AutoCAD & Structural Planning)

• Utilize AutoCAD and other design software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D) to produce detailed technical drawings.
• Prepare site layouts, cross-sections, elevations, and structural plans in accordance with project specifications.
• Review and update drawings based on project progress and client feedback.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

✔ Project Coordination & Execution

• Work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assist in project scheduling, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality and budget compliance.
• Monitor project progress and track any scope changes that may impact costs or design.
• Provide on-site technical support and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation for internal and client use.

Requirements

📍 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in structural engineering, cost estimation, and AutoCAD design.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
• Experience in cost estimation, project budgeting, and quotation preparation.
