Vio is a private family household in Dubai seeking a compassionate and highly motivated professional to support their 12-year-old daughter’s personal, academic, and emotional development. The family is looking for a dedicated Child Development Specialist / Family Assistant who can become a consistent and positive presence in the child’s daily routine.

Job Summary:
This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone with a background in child development, education, or psychology who thrives in a nurturing, one-on-one mentoring environment. You will be expected to help build structured routines, promote academic progress, support emotional development, and foster healthy lifestyle habits for the child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Routine Management: Help establish and maintain a structured daily schedule, including morning and evening activities.

• Academic Support: Guide the child through homework, monitor academic progress, and create organized study plans.

• Extracurricular Engagement: Encourage participation in hobbies, sports, and social events to enhance balance and personal growth.

• Emotional and Social Mentoring: Provide a supportive environment for emotional expression and assist with social interaction skills.

• Lifestyle and Wellness Support: Promote healthy eating habits, physical activity, and overall wellness.

• Parental Communication: Keep parents informed with regular updates and offer observations and advice on developmental areas.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).

• Prior experience in working with pre-teens/adolescents in roles like nanny, teacher, or developmental specialist.

• Solid understanding of child development, especially pre-teen years.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Patient, nurturing, and emotionally intelligent.

• CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain).

• Clean background check and professional references required.
