Job Title: Certified Security Officer

Job Description:
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Certified Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong presence on-site, respond effectively to emergencies, and prevent any illegal or inappropriate activities. This role demands a high level of alertness, integrity, and a commitment to public safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguard company property, staff, and the public by maintaining a secure environment at all times.

• Monitor and patrol premises regularly to deter and detect signs of intrusion, disorder, or suspicious activity.

• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances swiftly and appropriately.

• Act lawfully in defense of life, property, or when detaining individuals violating rules or committing crimes.

• Control access points, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and operate emergency equipment when necessary.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, including reports on irregularities or security breaches.

• Perform basic first aid or CPR in case of medical emergencies.

• Provide support during evacuations or other emergency protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Higher secondary education.

• Must possess a valid SIRA Security Guard License (UAE).

• Certified in First Aid and Firefighting by a recognized UAE training institute.

• Background in Military or Police services is highly desirable.

• Must be physically and mentally fit, at least 5’7” tall (for males), and have a medium build.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong command of English (spoken and written); Arabic or additional languages are a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of public safety and emergency response protocols.

• Skilled in lifesaving techniques, including CPR and first aid.

• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions during emergencies.

• Proficient in using surveillance systems and other security technologies.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Security Guard role.
