Job Title: Certified English Language Instructor

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Language Instructor to join our academic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English language instruction to students of varying levels, ensuring they achieve their full learning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging English language lessons in alignment with the approved syllabus.

• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them to the Academic Manager for review.

• Maintain organized records of student progress and lesson materials, sorted alphabetically by students’ first names.

• Ensure punctuality for all classes and scheduled breaks; collect student satisfaction forms on the second and final day of courses.

• Conduct group and one-on-one sessions to enhance listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

• Evaluate student assignments, provide constructive feedback, and submit progress reports.

• Ensure student safety, particularly juniors, by adhering to safeguarding protocols and classroom management policies.

• Prevent and address behavioral issues and bullying; follow institutional risk assessments.

• Teach practical English using tools such as textbooks, videos, pronunciation exercises, and real-life scenarios.

• Respect and incorporate cultural diversity in classroom practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Recognized TEFL/TESOL certification (CELTA, DELTA, Trinity Cert. TESOL, etc.) with at least 100 hours of instruction and 6 hours of observed teaching.

• Clean DBS record and eligibility to work in the UAE.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in TESL or related field).

Preferred Qualifications:

• PGCE, PETYL, CETYL, QTS or similar credentials.

• First aid certification and prior teaching experience in a similar role.

• Willingness to participate in social events and extracurricular activities.

Essential Skills:

• Native-level English proficiency with excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• Punctual, detail-oriented, inclusive, confident, and patient.

• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and adaptable to different learning styles.
