Job Overview:
Chalhoub Group, a leader in luxury retail across the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Category Manager to oversee the Faces brand regionally. The role involves defining and driving category strategy, purchasing, merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities to enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Business Strategy: Develop and implement category plans in line with Faces’ strategic objectives.
✔ Performance Management: Monitor category performance, ensuring alignment with growth goals.
✔ Supplier & Brand Negotiations: Secure commercial agreements, advertising space deals, and optimal category mix.
✔ Market Analysis: Benchmark performance against competitors and analyze industry trends.
✔ Promotions & Calendar Planning: Oversee brand promotions, product launches, and in-store activities.
✔ Inventory & Stock Management: Work with supply chain teams on stock returns, slow-moving items, and category expansion.
✔ Omnichannel Retailing: Ensure a seamless experience across offline and online platforms.
✔ P&L Oversight: Drive financial performance through strategic buying, supplier negotiations, and pricing decisions.
✔ Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, e-commerce, finance, logistics, and retail teams for cohesive execution.
Candidate Requirements:
🔹 5+ years in a commercial or category management role within retail.
🔹 Strong P&L management skills with a track record of driving financial growth.
🔹 Experience in offline beauty retail (online retail experience is a plus).
🔹 Passion for cosmetics market trends and brands.
🔹 Expertise in stakeholder management and business development.
