OCS Services is seeking experienced offshore professionals for a Marine Superintendent role aboard FPSO/FPU vessels. This role involves leadership of offshore operations, safety management, marine risk assessments, and crisis response, supporting global offshore oil and gas projects. The position is part of a candidate pool for multiple upcoming projects in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead Crisis Management Team and coordinate emergency response aboard the vessel.

Act as Deputy to the OIM, ensuring seamless operations if required.

Implement, verify, and review company policies and management systems; conduct annual shipboard management reviews.

Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, OCIMF, and operator standards.

Motivate and manage marine crew, delegate tasks, and uphold high operational standards.

Oversee cargo and tanker operations, ballasting, COW operations, tank maintenance, and navigation bridge operations.

Lead marine risk assessments, toolbox talks, HSE practices, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Manage marine consumables, inventory, and logistics for supply vessels.

Prepare FPSO for tanker berthing/unberthing and safe off-take operations.

Administer waste procedures in compliance with MARPOL and maintain records.

Train, mentor, and assess competency of marine crew and CCR operators.

Liaise with operators, regulators, class/flag surveyors, and production/maintenance teams.

Ensure safety, compliance, and operational integrity of all delegated marine activities.
Candidate Profile / Qualifications:

Master Mariner Class 1 CoC preferred; Chief Mate with substantial FPSO/tanker experience also considered.

8–10 years in Oil & Gas O&M, including 5+ years offshore; 3+ years on FPSO/FPU with commissioning exposure preferred.

Expertise in FPSO systems, mooring, offloading, navigation, DP operations, and safety protocols.

Comprehensive knowledge of IMO conventions, operator policies, and Class/Flag State requirements.

Proven crisis management and emergency response leadership.

Hands-on experience supervising bridge operations, deck crew, HSE toolbox talks, and consumable management.

Fluent in English; additional languages like Portuguese, French, or Italian are a plus.
