Business Development Representative

Groupon is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) in Dubai to help expand partnerships with small businesses. This role involves cold calling, consultative selling, deal structuring, and contract negotiation to drive market growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target small-sized merchants through cold calling.
  • Develop an understanding of merchant businesses, demographics, and revenue drivers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and deal structures to meet business objectives.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Work closely with Merchant Development teams for a seamless onboarding process.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and drive market growth.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in sales, inside sales, or business development.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales quotas and handle objections.
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
  • High levels of resilience, accountability, and adaptability.
