DHL Supply Chain, the world’s largest contract logistics specialist, is hiring a Business Development Manager for the UAE. This full-time leadership role is responsible for driving new business growth, managing a dynamic sales force, and defining local sales strategies aligned with DHL’s global vision. The ideal candidate will bring deep logistics industry knowledge and the ability to influence at a senior level across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial activities and develop tailored logistics solutions across warehousing, transport, and integrated services

• Define and implement the country’s sales strategy, aligned with global/regional goals

• Manage and develop the sales force, assign accounts, conduct performance reviews, and foster coaching culture

• Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to promote customer retention and satisfaction

• Drive business growth through transformational deals, account renewals, and major projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, HR, Legal) to enhance the overall sales process and deliverables

• Identify industry trends, develop sector-specific strategies, and support innovation

Requirements:

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in logistics or related sectors

• Prior experience in sales, operations, or supply chain solutions design

• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and challenges

• Proven ability to manage large teams and complex business development projects

• University degree or equivalent; international business exposure is a plus

• Fluent in English; excellent communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and influence within a matrix organization
