Business Development Manager – Construction Services

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager – Construction Services to join our team in Dubai. The role is focused on developing new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building long-term client relationships within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will bring an established network of clients, a strong background in construction, and proven experience in managing the tendering process for major projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities and achieve/exceed sales targets.

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of revenue significantly higher than sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, including with senior decision-makers.

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and client needs to shape sales strategies.

  • Network and attend industry-specific events to expand business opportunities.

  • Ensure accurate reporting of weekly/monthly sales and forecasts.

  • Oversee contract negotiations in collaboration with legal and commercial teams.

  • Review tender documents, RFPs, and scopes of work to provide input for bids.

  • Collaborate with pricing teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.

  • Strictly adhere to Salesforce processes and Transguard’s validation procedures.

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute market intelligence to strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in selling blue-collar manpower outsourcing services.

  • Strong background and knowledge of the construction industry.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically and creatively.

  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and resilience.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce.

  • Familiarity with UAE laws, construction regulations, and guidelines.

  • Ability to build strong internal and external partnerships.

  • Experience preparing financial summaries for pricing.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
