This full-time, on-site role is ideal for professionals with deep industry ties in Oil & Gas, Construction, Life Support, Commercial Client Services, or Mining. The ideal candidate will lead strategic business expansion efforts, forge strong client relationships, and drive impactful growth across key operational sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and nurture new and existing business relationships.

• Research and identify new opportunities and develop marketing initiatives to increase sales.

• Raise company profile and ensure inclusion in client bidding opportunities.

• Identify emerging needs and new markets for services.

• Develop and execute strategic business plans for market share growth.

• Identify opportunities for partnerships and acquisitions.

• Set short-term and long-term business development goals.

• Lead and manage a sales team aligned with the company’s growth strategy.

• Maintain a robust client database and provide regular updates to leadership.

• Create detailed capture plans and proposal strategies to support bid success.

• Review final proposals to ensure alignment with client expectations.

• Perform competitor analysis and benchmark company performance.

• Research new clients, projects, and geographic markets for business expansion.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development.

• Proven track record in setting and achieving sales goals.

• Strong analytical and result-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience working in Africa is essential.

• Background in UN or NGO operations is a plus.

• Experience in remote site operations is required.
