Job Title : Business Development Manager

Role Overview:

Support the commercial growth of the Freight Forwarding business by acquiring new customers, expanding business from existing clients, and managing internal & external relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Business Development: Identify and develop new client base while enhancing Al Futtaim Logistics’ market presence in Dubai.
✅ Sales Performance: Achieve and manage the sales budget set for the financial year.
✅ Global Networking: Collaborate with sales channels & network partners for customers with international potential.
✅ Market Analysis: Assess sales successes & failures to optimize strategies and improve customer engagement.
✅ Value-Added Selling: Develop business opportunities through customized logistics solutions.
✅ EDI Process Management: Maintain and update Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes as required.
✅ Client Retention: Ensure 100% customer retention by delivering high-quality service and solutions.
✅ Performance Reporting: Regularly analyze and report sales performance & business growth trends.

Skills & Competencies:

🔹 Freight Forwarding Expertise: Strong understanding of international logistics, market trends, and global trade practices.
🔹 Industry Knowledge: In-depth experience in supply chain & freight forwarding within Dubai and the GCC region.
🔹 Negotiation & Influence: Proven ability to negotiate, influence client decisions, and drive business success.
🔹 Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate market dynamics, trade flows, and customer demands.
🔹 Tech Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office & logistics-related software.

Qualifications & Experience:

📌 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
📌 Experience: 3 – 5 years in Freight Forwarding Sales within the Dubai market.
📌 Reporting Line: Directly reports to the Commercial MENA Head and collaborates with multiple stakeholders.
