Job Title: Business Development Manager – 3PL Logistics

Job Description:

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) – 3PL to drive revenue growth and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) clients. This role is responsible for securing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts in the Jumbo Logistics Business.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Business Growth & Client Acquisition:

• Identify and secure new 3PL customers, growing the company’s revenue.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term business partnerships.

• Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

✅ Sales & Revenue Generation:

• Conduct regular sales visits, track potential clients, and convert leads into revenue-generating contracts.

• Negotiate contracts as per pricing guidelines, maximizing profitability.

• Keep accurate customer records and sales activity reports.

✅ Customer Relationship Management:

• Follow up on customer inquiries and communications professionally and promptly.

• Collaborate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts and services.

• Visit existing accounts to validate service levels and uncover new revenue opportunities.

✅ Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning:

• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

• Participate in weekly/monthly sales meetings to contribute insights and strategies.

• Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to expand service offerings.

Skills & Requirements:

✔ Proven Sales Expertise: Full-cycle sales experience, from lead generation to closing deals.
✔ Logistics & 3PL Knowledge: Experience in third-party logistics, supply chain, or freight services.
✔ Negotiation & Communication: Strong negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
✔ Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
✔ Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and customer service.
