Job Title: Business Development Executive – Retail Partnerships (Deliveroo)

Job Description:

Deliveroo is on a mission to revolutionize food and retail delivery, making access to products more convenient than ever. As a Business Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in growing our network of retail partners, helping them thrive on the Deliveroo platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, tech-driven company, working within a hybrid model and reporting to the SMB Team Lead – Restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

🚀 Prospect & Onboard New Partners – Identify, pitch, and close new retail partners, ensuring they join and succeed on the platform.
💡 Market Expertise – Stay updated on market trends, upcoming retailers, and consumer needs to develop strong sales strategies.
📊 Sales & Negotiation – Showcase Deliveroo’s technology and benefits, negotiate agreements, and structure win-win deals for both parties.
🔄 Seamless Onboarding & Support – Guide new partners through the onboarding process and drive their success within the first 8 weeks.
🎤 Networking & Events – Represent Deliveroo at industry events, meetups, and conferences to expand business opportunities.
🗣️ Language Skills – Arabic or Hindi proficiency is a plus.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

✔ Monthly new partner sign-ups from target lists.
✔ Performance of newly signed partners during the first 3 months.

Requirements:

📌 2-3 years of sales experience (experience in the restaurant sector is a plus).
📌 Proven sales track record – experience in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals.
📌 Strong negotiation skills to create mutually beneficial agreements.
📌 Commercial awareness – understanding of delivery economics for both partners and Deliveroo.
📌 Self-motivated, tenacious, and goal-oriented individual.
📌 Passion for food, retail, and fast-paced environments.
