Job Title: Business Analyst 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in banking, financial systems, and agile product development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, defining product strategies, conducting in-depth analyses, and ensuring seamless alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in requirement gathering, process optimization, data analysis, system enhancement, and stakeholder management—all while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with business users, product owners, and IT teams to collect and document requirements

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to prioritize business needs

• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements

Business Process & System Optimization

• Map current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for improved efficiency

• Assess current banking systems to identify gaps and propose new functionalities or upgrades

• Support system implementation, integration, and testing

Data-Driven Decision Making

• Analyze large datasets on customer behavior, financial performance, and risk trends

• Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making

Regulatory & Risk Compliance

• Stay updated on banking regulations and industry best practices

• Ensure solutions meet compliance and risk management requirements

Testing & Implementation

• Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and cases

• Facilitate smooth implementation of new systems or upgrades

• Support end-user training and documentation

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor system performance and gather user feedback

• Identify opportunities for ongoing process and system enhancements

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Deep understanding of Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban)

• Ability to work with remote teams and manage complex stakeholders

• Proficiency in UML, requirements analysis, and product management

• Knowledge of planning, pricing, and financial strategy

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Business, MIS, or Economics

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software or financial services

• 3+ years working with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban

• Professional certifications (CBAP, CCBA, Agile/Scrum) preferred

• Experience in banking or financial technology environments highly desirable
