Billing Coordinator

Novomed is seeking a Billing Coordinator to manage billing operations, insurance coordination, and cash handling. The role requires close collaboration with insurance companies, the billing team, and other departments to ensure smooth and accurate processing of claims and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle problem claims, denials, and insurance coverage inquiries.

  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding eligibility, approvals, payments, and reconciliations.

  • Assist the billing team in insurance processing and billing operations.

  • Collect cash and credit card payments; ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation.

  • Maintain records for pre-approvals, reconciliations, cancelled bills, and refunds.

  • Follow management policies for discounts, offers, and refunds.

  • Match credit card sales with daily reports and attach necessary documentation.

  • Report discrepancies, cash shortages, or technical issues promptly.

  • Perform other duties as directed by the line manager.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in OP and IP Billing in UAE.

  • Strong knowledge of billing operations and insurance procedures.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail in cash handling and documentation.

  • Ability to join immediately or within a one-month notice period.
