Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai invites passionate hospitality professionals to join its award-winning Yù & Mì Chinese Restaurant team as a Bar Back. This full-time, on-site role is key to supporting bartenders and maintaining smooth bar operations within a luxurious hotel setting renowned for its blend of modern design and oriental heritage.

Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders by preparing and stocking the bar with supplies such as glassware, garnishes, and beverages.

• Manage inventory levels, help with ordering and restocking, and organize beverage shelving before bar opening.

• Ensure the bar area remains clean, organized, and equipment is well-maintained throughout shifts.

• Support bartenders in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks as directed.

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, delivering exceptional service.

• Assist with special events and promotions as required.

• Adhere to all corporate and hotel policies, including health, safety, and code of conduct standards.

Skills and Requirements:

• High School qualification or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 5-star luxury hotel bar environment.

• Strong knowledge of bar operations and excellent guest service skills.

• Basic computer literacy, including MS Office proficiency.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Verbal and written communication skills in Arabic or other languages are a plus.
