Job Summary:
We are hiring a Senior Back-End Developer to join our Dubai-based team at Valtrans Transportation Systems and Services. You will design and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel and AWS, while collaborating with front-end teams and other developers to create robust backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end solutions using Laravel (MVC architecture)

• Build and manage RESTful APIs for mobile apps and third-party integrations

• Design and manage MySQL databases with optimized queries

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)

• Collaborate closely with front-end and full-stack developers

• Maintain version control with Git and manage CI/CD pipelines

• Debug, test, and optimize code for high performance

• Optional but valuable: contribute with Node.js capabilities

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Laravel (5+ years experience)

• MySQL (5+ years experience)

• AWS infrastructure (3+ years experience)

• Git, GitHub, and CI/CD toolsets

• Node.js (advantageous but not mandatory)

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Must be currently based in the UAE

Job Details:

• Salary: AED 6,000 – 8,000/month (inclusive of allowances)
