EMEAA Tech People, in collaboration with a leading enterprise solutions provider in Dubai, is hiring a Backend Developer to join their innovative and fast-paced technology team. This full-time, on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced digital transformation initiatives across the region.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of user-facing components with backend systems, driving performance, reliability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and high-performance server-side applications and APIs.

• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate frontend and backend functionalities.

• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve backend system issues and bugs.

• Implement and manage relational and non-relational database structures, queries, and performance tuning (SQL/NoSQL).

• Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews to ensure software quality.

• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience in an enterprise environment.

• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or .NET.

• Strong experience with RESTful API development and integration.

• Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools (preferred).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
