XYZ Technologies is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AV Technician to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, installation, testing, and maintenance of audiovisual systems. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in delivering seamless and high-quality AV experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport, set up, and install AV equipment including projectors, speakers, monitors, and rack-mounted systems.

• Test and troubleshoot video and audio signals to resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Install cables within conduits and trays, ensuring proper routing and organization.

• Terminate a variety of connectors including RJ45, XLR, and BNC with precision.

• Adhere to all site-specific health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Maintain and properly use AV tools and equipment according to company standards.

• Collaborate with the team and report regularly on project status and completed tasks.

• Perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on AV systems to ensure optimal functionality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in AV systems preferred).

• Prior experience as an AV Technician or in a related technical role.

• Proficiency with AV installations, troubleshooting, and system integration.

• Strong understanding of audio-visual signal flow, cable termination, and equipment operation.

• Familiarity with connectors such as RJ45, XLR, BNC.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
