Universal Cans & Barrels Industry L.L.C is looking for an experienced Automatic Press Setter & Operator to handle setup, operation, and maintenance of high-speed automatic press machines in aluminium can-end production. The role requires precision, technical expertise, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate high-speed automatic press machines (e.g., shell and tab conversion presses).

• Optimize machine settings to ensure efficiency and high-quality output.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting.

• Monitor press performance and carry out regular quality checks using precision tools.

• Maintain accurate records of production data and machine logs.

• Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills & Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience as a press setter/operator in metal can or metal packaging production.

• Hands-on expertise in presses from Minster, Schuler, or similar manufacturers.

• Strong knowledge of can-end production processes (shell & tab lines).

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.

• Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing fields.

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with production reporting and quality assurance processes.
