Job Title: AutoCAD Draftsman – Interior Design

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join our interior design team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in 2D drafting, 3D rendering, and BOQ preparation for interior projects. This role requires a strong understanding of drafting standards, construction details, and interior design principles, along with experience collaborating with designers and project managers to bring creative concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

2D Drafting:

• Create accurate and detailed 2D drawings for floor plans, elevations, sections, and technical details using AutoCAD.

• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and local building regulations.

3D Rendering:

• Develop high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations to effectively represent interior design concepts.

• Convert conceptual designs into realistic 3D models for client presentations.

BOQ (Bill of Quantities) Preparation:

• Prepare detailed BOQs for materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures required for interior projects.

• Work closely with project managers to ensure accuracy and budget alignment.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with interior designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure accurate representation of designs.

• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and on-site teams for seamless project execution.

Revisions & Updates:

• Revise drawings and 3D models based on feedback from project stakeholders.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation to reflect the most current design and construction requirements.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all drawings and design documents meet high-quality standards and accuracy.

• Maintain consistency in design styles, materials, and technical specifications.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience as a draftsman in interior design or related field.

• Experience in joinery work is a plus.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting software.

• Strong knowledge of drafting standards, interior design principles, and construction details.

• Excellent time management and organization skills with attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of joinery works and material specifications.
