Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Audit Supervisor – Financial Services (Banking & Insurance) with IFRS 17 expertise to join our team for FY25 hiring. The selected candidate will play a key role in leading financial audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic insights within the banking, financial institutions, asset management, and insurance sectors.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Audit Execution & Compliance

• Lead audit planning, execution, and finalization for FS (Banking & Insurance) audits in compliance with IFRS 17.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, KPMG Audit Manual, and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate financial processes and controls.

• Identify and provide solutions for audit and business risks.

🔹 Client & Team Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing deliverables and meetings.

• Guide and mentor junior audit team members.

• Offer consultation and strategic insights on FS-specific audit challenges.

🔹 Technical & Analytical Expertise

• Perform high-risk and non-routine audit functions.

• Conduct financial and strategic analysis within the FS (Banking & Insurance) sector.

• Utilize audit software and data analytics tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

✅ Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

• Professional certifications (partially or fully completed):

  • ACCA: Minimum 9 papers (F1-F9) completed.

  • CPA: Completion of at least 2 papers.

  • ICAEW: Completion of the Professional Stage.

✅ Experience & Skills:

• 3+ years of postgraduate audit experience.

• Expertise in IFRS 17 and FS (Banking & Insurance) audits.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and risk assessment.

• Proficiency in audit software, data analysis, and financial reporting tools.
