KPMG Lower Gulf is hiring an experienced Audit Supervisor to lead Infrastructure, Governance, and Healthcare (IGH) audit assignments. Starting from October 1st, 2024, this full-time, on-site role is ideal for professionals with strong audit expertise and industry knowledge in IGH sectors such as construction, real estate, oil & gas, and healthcare. Interviews begin June 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and finalize IGH audit assignments for managerial and partner review.

• Identify business and audit risks, and assess the effectiveness of client processes and internal controls.

• Conduct higher-risk and nonroutine audit tasks across IGH sectors.

• Lead and manage junior auditors during fieldwork and engagements.

• Prepare client deliverables and participate in key meetings.

• Apply KPMG’s Audit Manual, auditing methodologies, and industry-specific standards.

• Analyze industry data and provide strategic insights for IGH clients.

Candidate Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or equivalent (e.g., A Levels)

• Professional certifications:

  • ACCA: Minimum 9 papers completed (F1–F9)

  • CPA: Minimum 2 papers completed

  • ICAEW: Professional Stage completed

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience

• Must have recent experience auditing within the IGH sector (infrastructure, governance, healthcare, oil & gas, construction, or real estate)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of IGH sector accounting principles and regulatory frameworks

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior auditors

• Client-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software tools

Language Requirements:

• English: Fluent (spoken and written)

• Arabic: Fluent (spoken and written)
