Job Title: Senior Manager – Accounting & Reporting Advisory (Audit & Assurance)

Job Overview:

Deloitte & Touche (M.E.) is seeking a Senior Manager in Accounting & Reporting Advisory to provide expert financial instrument advisory, focusing on ECL (Expected Credit Loss) modeling, IFRS 9 compliance, and credit risk frameworks. This role involves managing financial reporting projects, advising clients on complex accounting matters, and leading high-impact engagements across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Business Development & Client Engagement:

• Identify, prepare, and participate in proposals for new clients and projects.

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships to grow the business.

✅ Accounting & Reporting Advisory:

• Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS 9 and ECL modeling.

• Assist clients in financial audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.

• Manage credit risk processes, including underwriting, risk rating, and policy reviews.

✅ Financial Risk Management:

• Develop and validate credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD).

• Implement credit risk analytics and reporting tools such as Moody’s, S&P, and nCino.

• Advise on Allowance for Credit Losses under IFRS 9.

✅ Leadership & Team Development:

• Supervise, coach, and mentor accounting professionals.

• Conduct performance reviews and provide structured feedback.

• Drive a collaborative workplace culture aligned with Deloitte’s values.

Qualifications & Experience:

✔ CPA, CA, or ACCA certification required.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
✔ 8+ years of public accounting experience, with 4+ years in leadership roles.
✔ Expertise in IFRS 9, credit risk, and ECL modeling.
✔ Strong financial reporting and technical accounting knowledge.
✔ Excellent project management and communication skills.
