Position Overview:
Encore is seeking a skilled Audio Engineer to join its Dubai-based team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced audio knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering top-quality sound production for live events. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have hands-on experience managing both gear and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support technical teams during audio setup, operation, and breakdown of live events

• Operate, configure, and troubleshoot audio systems including high-end equipment

• Train and supervise technicians and crew on proper use, inspection, and maintenance of audio gear

• Coordinate with Project Managers on equipment specification and event planning

• Conduct regular equipment testing, cleaning, repair, and fault diagnosis

• Maintain technical standards by researching new equipment and training others

• Run live shows and events of all sizes, acting as on-site technical lead when needed

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE

• Perform annual inventory, and uphold company maintenance and repair procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in audio production

• Advanced knowledge of professional audio equipment and technologies

• Ability to read and interpret technical layouts and plans

• Proven experience managing technicians and crew during event execution

• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

• Excellent written and spoken English
