Job Overview:
Parsons is seeking a talented Associate Urban Designer to join its Dubai office. This role involves working on dynamic and high-impact urban development projects that reshape cityscapes. You will lead projects across all planning stages and coordinate with government and private stakeholders to implement masterplans aligned with development mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead urban design and masterplanning projects from pre-concept through detailed phases.

• Conduct and manage complex urban planning tasks, data analysis, and research.

• Develop technical inputs and create high-quality designs, reports, and presentations.

• Analyze economic, social, and environmental data to inform urban design proposals.

• Ensure compliance with local/international planning standards and regulations.

• Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to align project goals with broader urban development objectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of progressive urban design experience.

• Strong portfolio in master planning, conceptual design, and illustrative layouts.

• Deep knowledge of current best practices and statutory regulations.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in design and 3D modeling software tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or Architecture.

• Professional certifications (e.g., AICP, RTPI, RIBA).

• Prior experience working in the GCC region.

• Proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
