Charles Russell Speechlys is seeking an experienced Associate (3-4 PQE) with strong civil law litigation expertise to join its team in Dubai. This contract-based, on-site role involves significant responsibility and direct client interaction across a wide variety of complex, often international disputes. The successful candidate will work on high-profile cases across multiple sectors, such as energy, healthcare, financial services, and luxury retail, while navigating the UAE court systems and engaging closely with local government entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and representation in commercial dispute and litigation matters across the UAE and GCC

• Manage cases through UAE court systems, coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders

• Handle a broad range of disputes including contractual claims, financial services disputes, professional negligence, fraud, and asset tracing

• Work closely with experts and cross-functional teams to ensure effective case management

• Keep abreast of legal developments in UAE and GCC jurisdictions

Required Qualifications:

• 3-4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) within the UAE

• Proven litigation experience at an international law firm

• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English is essential

• Extensive onshore legal experience, particularly in cases involving local government entities

• Deep understanding of GCC jurisdictional law preferred

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities in both Arabic and English
