Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel, a part of Marriott International, is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager – Groups & Events for its Dubai office. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for professionals with at least 2 years of sales or event coordination experience in the hospitality industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling group bookings, event-related sales activities, and customer relationship management to drive revenue while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to guest calls, requests, and issues by coordinating with relevant departments

• Employ effective sales techniques to maximize revenue and enhance guest loyalty

• Process reservations, cancellations, and Marriott Rewards redemptions

• Maintain accurate guest and sales records

• Support the Sales & Marketing team with general administrative duties

• Assist in motivating and training staff while serving as a role model

• Build strong internal and external relationships to promote brand awareness

• Maintain professional standards in appearance, communication, and guest service

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in sales or events in hospitality

• Strong communication skills in English

• Customer-focused with the ability to resolve issues efficiently

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Team player with a positive attitude

• No supervisory experience required
