We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale core banking transformation projects in Dubai. The role involves working closely with application, infrastructure, business, and operations teams to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery across trade, cash, and channel systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, end-to-end core banking delivery expertise, and the ability to coordinate with both internal teams and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support PMO in assessing risks, delays, and mitigations.

• Track project execution, maintain RAID logs, and deliver clear status reporting.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.

• Work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors for integration and delivery.

• Maintain detailed project plans and risk registers.

• Provide updates during technology governance sessions.

• Support product owners, business, and operations teams in project execution.

• Liaise with accountable leads on application configuration, customization, and development.

• Ensure seamless integration with middleware and API teams.

Requirements

• 8–15 years’ banking industry experience on medium-to-large projects.

• Proven expertise in multi-stream transformation projects with large teams.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Consulting background (multi-national firms) is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and presentation skills.

• PMP certification preferred.
