Assistant Manager – Rental Operations


AW Rostamani Group is looking for an Assistant Manager – Rental Operations to oversee the daily operations of its centralized rental branch. The role involves managing fleet operations, customer service, staff supervision, and compliance, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience in the UAE rental car industry, and a customer-centric mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Rental Operations & Fleet Management:
- Oversee vehicle availability, reservations, and fleet utilization to optimize business operations.
- Ensure maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of rental vehicles for quality and safety compliance.
- Monitor and supervise vehicle delivery and collection teams for on-time execution.
- Conduct review meetings to evaluate key performance and address challenges.
✅ Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes with prompt and effective resolutions.
- Ensure exceptional service standards to enhance customer experience.
- Train staff on customer service best practices.
✅ Team Supervision & Performance Management:
- Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring employees, including drivers and customer service representatives.
- Monitor and improve staff performance through feedback and structured training.
- Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure smooth rental operations.
✅ Sales & Revenue Growth Support:
- Assist the branch manager in meeting sales targets and implementing marketing strategies.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services like insurance, GPS rentals, and loyalty programs.
- Analyze branch performance KPIs and suggest improvements.
✅ Inventory & Cost Management:
- Manage fleet inventory and ensure rental cars are well-maintained and ready for use.
- Control operational costs related to fuel, repairs, and staffing.
- Track and report vehicle damage or incidents promptly.
✅ Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain rental agreements, vehicle documents, and insurance records accurately.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE laws, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to financial and operational procedures.
✅ Reporting:
- Submit monthly reports on fleet induction, de-fleeting, utilization, and customer feedback.
Job Requirements:
📌 Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-4 years of experience in rental car operations.
- Prior UAE industry experience is preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and customer relationships.
- Digitally savvy with the ability to leverage technology for operational improvements.
