Accor, a global leader in hospitality, is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to oversee and maintain computer systems, data communication networks, and software applications at its hotel in Fujairah. Reporting to the General Manager, this role ensures seamless IT operations, system security, and technology upgrades in alignment with corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
💻 Ensure 24/7 availability of critical hotel IT systems (Property Management System, Call Accounting, POS)
🖥 Provide IT support for back-office, sales, catering, marketing, and HR applications
🛠 Manage IT hardware and software suppliers, ensuring proper maintenance agreements
📑 Establish user procedures, system security protocols, and backup procedures
📊 Conduct system audits to ensure compliance and identify IT-related risks
🚀 Assist departments in IT training and implementation of new technologies
📡 Coordinate new system implementations, updates, and upgrades with corporate teams
Job Requirements:
🎓 Degree in IT or a Diploma in IT (preferred from a hospitality-focused institution)
🏨 1-2 years of experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry
🛠 Proficiency in hotel IT systems, data security, and IT support
